2007 Souvenirs

This would be the last entry for today. On the contrary, I have (lots of) problems with my new pc >.< Such as now my MSN lags when I'm about to PM, and my Warcraft lags even more when playing. When I scroll through the screen it moves from the left end of the map to the right end immediately/ or right end to left end la / top end to bottom end / whatever. Sigh can't solve this problem at all =(

I hate my USB Cable that connects to my handphone. I want a dongle already T_T

I've missed out about Valentine's day. He came back on that night and boy... his hair was long XD ( I like!) I wanted to sit on his trolley bag while he drags it >.<
Anyway, he bought me a present from Aussie (of couse I had to ask him to T.T sobs)
Then few days before today, he brought me another present too.

The smallest bear that's holding roses is a soft toy that can record and play sounds. I still haven't really figured out a name for him. Chin Ming Jr. sounds like the best option because he has his voice recorded inside =P but he'll slaughter me if i put that, so every night I just press play and ... awww.... I'll leave that voice inside forever so the 'Record' button is not allowed to touch >(
The big white baby seal with pink blush is named Man Tou. Yeah, mantau mantou anything la. Just like mantaus it is soft and white ^_^ and it also spreads some Lavender-ish scent from the butt because the saleswoman said so =\

3 days ago, my dad was on the way back from Medan, Indonesia. I think he parked his car at Singapore and went there. So while he was on his way back from Singapore, he called my handphone. I thought it was something serious or important la.

Dad: Kelsie are you free now?
Me: Er ya why?
Dad: I'm walking through some shopping malls and I spot a dress and I think it'd look nice on you. ^^ Do you want it?
Me: .... I told you not to buy dress for me already lor, mommy always buying those for me already...
Dad: But its the latest trend bla bla blabla...

I understand women like to buy dresses, but even my dad too... T.T Okay, so I got that trait from my dad and mom and now my victim is -----> *drums roll*

In the airport T_T

I've bought a brown T-shirt for him before and previously was a collar shirt, and now... another collar shirt! >< I wanted to let him try long sleeves clothing but it just seriously doesn't look like chinming-ish anymore, haha. One week ago, I spotted a nice black vest jacket, must get that for him already ^_^

Yesterday was his last day here, so sent him to the airport T_T Bye bye and take care~

Home Food

After CNY, it was time for us to spend time together. He has limited time here, so sometimes we go out to have fun, sometimes we stay home and do er homely stuff... like cooking! He promised to make me burger steak though. So we've came back from Giant with the RAMLEE burger, some eggs, and sausages. (Actually we've had lunch before cooking just in case the food we cook turns out real bad)

So on to it, just when we wanted to start cooking.... NO OIL! Because previously he said there's oil in the house, I 'forced' him to go out to buy again >(

We steamed the sausages, so it turned out ok.
We fried the beef burger patties, and we smelt like them too.
We fried one egg each ourselves. I was planning to let him be in charge of all the eggs but after his 1st egg, I think I'd try over to fried eggs.

Looks rather eh-hem.... =.=

Mine was ok-looking but had an extra ingredient when I crack the eggs >.<

I realised everytime we try to make something at home, on the day itself when his parents come home, his mom would ask him: "Boy! Why is there lemons/strawberry/maggi mee/burger/(insert item here) in our house??"

Die lor... >.<

The CNY Entries

Its been a long time since I've updated. 1st is because of during the week of Chinese New Year, then after that busy for one or two weeks with seseorang. So I'll divide the entries into parts.

During the week of CNY various things happened. Gambled of course, won about 30 bucks, not as much as the previous years but if it weren't because of my KIASU attitude, I would have lost more than that. Oh well.

This year other than card games like Blackjack and Cho Dai Di that I've been playing for years, I've taken up a new gamble thing - MAHJONG, and it was fun too...

A castle! Ok joking... these was done because I was bored =(

For the previous years I've sort of learned abit of mahjong but never really played it before. But for this year i finally had my hands on them and sorta tried my luck in playing, and it was pretty fun, considering that I earned nothing and lose nothing.

The other fun stuff I had with my cuzzies were fireworks. I dont know how they got stuffs of those but some of the bombs were cute in shape. I've even brought back some sparks to play with him  XD Thanks to my cuzzie I've got a pack for free.

A little spark wouldn't hurt right.. ^^

So it all happened on the evening of February 21st, when we were gona take off back to KL (by car). Around the highways of Gombak (if not mistaken), when my dad was driving, suddenly he turned off the music, and looked a little worried, then he changed the gear to neutral and the car sort of jerk 2 times after a little while. The engine died and the worst thing was we were in the middle of no where. It was kinda pitch dark if it weren't for the emergency lights because there were no street lights at that area. So my dad managed to stop the car at the left side of the road and turned on the emer lights and placed that 'triangle red thing' at the boot behind the car few meters away.

So dad and mom looked worried, but we were kinda erm surprised and 'excited' because this is our 1st time facing this sort of problem, kinda weird reaction for a situation like this. So dad ordered us to sit beside on the grassy paths because we aren't supposed to stay inside the car in case of ... . Here are some nice surroundings that I took using my camera.

Fortunately on the opposite direction of the road, a pull truck came along and the driver came out to help my dad out. Then not long after that another ronda car came from behind and parked behind us and put those red orange poles behind for safety purposes. So while dad and those people were trying to fix the car, sis, bro, mom and me were chatting at the grasses.

Would have been abit dangerous if it wasn't for the bright lights...

We were told by dad that a private truck will come bring us and his car home. So we were expecting some big truck to load the car in. After 2 hours of waiting, finally it arrived. Wasn't what I imagined it to be like but the journey was interesting ^_^

I am working as model for promoting Audi............. RIGHT.

The real scene : dad trying to push sis up the car

Sitting in the car on top of the truck and I guess its the 1st time dad could actually sleep while going back to KL although he's in the driver's seat. About 3-4 hours later we arrived safely at home right in front of our house. Not cheap but efficient for times like this. Touru was at the gates in the house waiting... he could recognize me! So sweet *_*
